What is this camp about?
This session focuses on getting creative in the kitchen!  With our homestead pancake mix as a base, kids will learn to make sweet and savory pancakes, cupcakes and corn dogs with a few simple ingredients; we’ll then assemble breakfast boxes to be given to Food Gatherers.  Creative time will include activities like writing cards to be distributed with the breakfast boxes and decorating packaging.  Each camper will leave Wednesday with two bags of Cornman Farms pancake mix and the ingredients needed to make Corn, Ham & Cheese savory pancakes and fresh fruit cupcakes. 

Who is this designed for?
Tweens with an interest in gardening, cooking and giving back to the community!  Activities will be indoors in our 1834 Farmhouse as well as outside around our 27 acres, mostly focusing on our willow garden area.  Campers should be able to follow directions, be comfortable using kitchen and gardening equipment while supervised and be open to indoor and outdoor conditions, including rain and bugs.

No nuts will be used in any camp.
Vegetarians can be accommodated.
We will not be able to prepare vegan, dairy free or gluten free versions of the planned meals.
