Luck of the Irish Cocktail Class with Beth Vandergrift on March 17th

Live virtual event on Wednesday, March 17 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. EST. One ticket per household.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a virtual Cornman Farms Cocktail Class! In this class you will learn to make (and then imbibe) distinct cocktails featuring Irish whiskey and stout beer. Beverage enthusiast Beth Vandergrift will instruct the group in making signature cocktails,  created just for this event, and share stories about the history of whiskey in Ireland as well as the legend of St. Patrick himself. We’ll begin with The Dublin Double, a shaken and strained classic-style cocktail, then move on to the St. James’ Gate Coffee, a riff on the classic Irish Coffee with a sweet Guinness twist. The final beverage is an optional Shamrock Shot for a closing toast, a jellied layered shooter that can be tinted festively green if desired. Guests will end the night with the confidence and know-how to recreate these signature cocktails at home, as well as better-than-average knowledge of the ingredients, and perhaps a new story or two to share with friends!

Each ticket includes: 

• Hands-on virtual cocktail class
• A digital shopping list and recipe cards
• Option to add an ingredient kit that includes alcohol and syrups for one of each cocktail

Unless ingredient kit is added, this is a fully digital class. 

Ingredient kit pick up will be at Cornman Farms (8540 Island Lake Road, Dexter, MI) on Tuesday, March 16 3:30-5:30 p.m.
