Kids Camp
Kids Cook Lasagna Love
For children 9-12 years old
What is this camp about?
Learn to make homemade pasta and Chef Kieron’s 30+ ingredient bolognese sauce! Pick herbs and ingredients right from the garden, and learn about taking care of their plant at home! Assemble lasagna for the Ronald McDonald House. Creative time will include activities like writing cards to be distributed with the lasagna and decorating packaging. Each child will leave Wednesday with a complete meal for 4 to finish at home, including salad, vegetable lasagna and garlic bread as well as recipes for each item.
Who is this designed for?
Tweens with an interest in gardening, cooking and giving back to the community! Activities will be indoors in our 1834 Farmhouse as well as outside around our 27 acres, mostly focusing on our willow garden area. Campers should be able to follow directions, be comfortable using kitchen and gardening equipment while supervised and be open to indoor and outdoor conditions, including rain and bugs.
