Whiskey and Outlaws Cocktail Class

Join us Saturday evening, May 27th, for a brand new class hosted by cocktail historian Beth Vandergrift. Tonight we'll explore the more illicit side of cocktail history as guests learn to create and then imbibe three different whiskey-based drinks, while enjoying light fare prepared by Cornman Farms' own talented culinary team. We'll delve into the close-knit history of whiskey production in the US and the United Kingdom, taxation, political rivalries, and distillers who knew the law but just didn't care to follow it. Guests will actively participate by learning to mix their own drinks as they listen to stories of the notable outlaws connected to those cocktails. Attendees will end the class with the recipes and confidence to recreate these beverages at home, along with some new whiskey lore to share with their friends.
