We’re celebrating the century-old American tradition of brunch at the Farm! Join local cocktail historian Beth Vandergrift in the barn for a leisurely mid-day class featuring two classic brunch cocktails and delicious farm-fresh food prepared by Cornman’s chefs right next door in the farmhouse kitchen. Brunch is an opportunity to take a break from the hectic weekday world and enjoy good food, good drinks, and good company.
On Saturday, May 31st we’ll discuss the history of two popular brunch drinks while guests learn to make (and then enjoy) all the cocktails themselves. Starting with the iconic Bloody Mary, which guests will be able to customize to their taste, and make their own bottle of Bloody Mary mix to take home. We’ll end the class with the classic Ramos Gin Fizz, a New Orleans staple that is steeped in history. Attendees will leave with recipes, a bottle of personalized Bloody Mary mix, and some more stories to share with friends.
