We’re celebrating the century-old American tradition of brunch at the Farm! Join local cocktail historian Beth Vandergrift in the barn for a leisurely mid-day class featuring two classic brunch cocktails and delicious farm-fresh food prepared by Cornman’s chefs right next door in the farmhouse kitchen. Brunch is an opportunity to take a break from the hectic weekday world and enjoy good food, good drinks, and good company.
This is a twist on our typical cocktail class format. Today's event will include just 2 cocktails and the stories behind them, but it will include a full brunch!
On Saturday, May 31st we’ll discuss the history of two popular brunch drinks while guests learn to make (and then enjoy) all the cocktails themselves. Starting with the iconic Bloody Mary, which guests will be able to customize to their taste, and make their own bottle of Bloody Mary mix to take home. We’ll end the class with the classic Ramos Gin Fizz, a New Orleans staple that is steeped in history. Attendees will leave with recipes, a bottle of personalized Bloody Mary mix, and some more stories to share with friends.

Yogurt with Fresh Berries and Community Farms Honey (GF, V)
Traditional whole milk yogurt made in house, accompanied by fresh or preserved seasonal berries.
Granola (GF, V)
House made granola with rolled oats toasted with cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar and butter.
Yorkshire Puddings with Butter & Jam
A classic British recipe that is a staple for any comfort meal. Yorkshire puddings are a cross between a crêpe and a popover and taste delicious with butter and jam!
Roasted Tomatoes with Herbs (VG, V)
Oven roasted tomatoes cooked with rosemary, thyme and garlic.
Devon Pie (V)
A delicious open-faced pie stuffed with potatoes, leeks, onion, garlic and cheddar cheese.
Pork and Apple Sausage (GF, DF)
Bite-sized house-cured pork and apple sausage with garlic, shallots and rosemary.
Breakfast Potatoes (GF, V)
Organic Russet breakfast potatoes roasted with garlic, thyme, bay leaf and butter.
