Spring is here, and we're dreaming of sandy beaches, warm breezes, and cocktails with little umbrellas. Join us on Friday, April 25tth to embrace the warm, tropical roots of Tiki culture. Born in Hollywood in the 1940s, this pseudo-Polynesian drink fad was a mainstay on the American drinking scene for almost 40 years.
We’ll embark on a virtual spring break when we explore three classic Tiki tipples: the Zombie, the Painkiller and of course, the drink that started the craze, the Mai Tai.
Come join us at the farm, learn to create these three distinct cocktails, and enjoy the fruits of your labor while sampling flavorful appetizers prepared fresh by Cornman Farm's culinary team. You’ll leave with the recipes for the cocktails and the syrups used during the class, an appreciation of the history of Tiki, and a few more stories to share.
Note: Cocktail ingredients contain coconut and almond.
Must be 21 or older to attend.
