What is this camp about?
Winner, winner! Breakfast for Dinner!
Learn to make quick jam, muffins, granola bars and breakfast pizza in this new session that includes plenty of time to try what you create. Creative time will include activities like writing cards to be distributed to homeless neighbors and decorating packaging. After designing, preparing, assembling and packing bags of granola for Food Gatherers, each child will leave Wednesday with fresh dough, sauce and toppings to make 4 personal breakfast pizzas at home, along with recipes for each component! This class uses nuts.
Who is this designed for?
Tweens with an interest in cooking and giving back to the community! Activities will be indoors in our 1834 Farmhouse as well as occasional outdoor time in our raised herb beds. Campers should be able to follow directions, be comfortable using kitchen equipment while supervised and be open to indoor and sometimes outdoor conditions, including rain and bugs.
Max of 14 participants
