Vermouth Vibes: Vintage Cocktails and Vignettes Cocktail Class
Friday, March 21, 2025
6:30 p.m.
Join us at the Farm on Friday, March 21st to celebrate National Vermouth Day! Vermouth is an aromatized fortified wine that became a staple ingredient of classic cocktails in America during the Gilded Age of the late 1800s.
Tonight we’ll explore three different categories of vermouth in cocktails that have origin stories linking them to Winston Churchill, fictional Secret Agent James Bond, and a particular article of men’s formalwear. All ingredients and equipment will be provided for guests to learn to make, and then drink, three different cocktails throughout the evening while enjoying some light snacks prepared by Cornman Farm’s exceptional culinary team.
Cocktail historian Beth Vandergrift will lead the guests through the preparation of the drinks and share the stories behind the spirits while the guests imbibe. Attendees will end the night with increased knowledge of the history of vermouth, all the recipes used during the class, and a few more stories to share with friends. Cin cin!
Must be 21 or older to attend.
